What’s changed for you?

How has Covid-19 settled in your life? Not only with the physical/social distancing aspect, but how has it affected your daily with family, work, hobbies, friends, and life in general. What have you learned? There has been so much to learn, process, and re-learn. The changes, the information, the mandates, how have you grown, evolved?

Not only did I get Covid, but my whole immediate family was also quarantined with a myriad of symptoms… the known factors; fever, chills, aches, exhaustion, and the surprising ones; loss of taste and smell, to name a few. Over the weeks of fighting the symptoms, there came a point where I just didn’t have the energy to do much of anything. Anything. Once I gave in and allowed myself to rest and recuperate, I started to recover. Thank God we all recovered

After my recovery, I realized that the pandemic actually provided some positive opportunities… it gave me a chance to meet many new clients and help more people; coaching them through their challenges, career choices, changes, and transitions. I found more and more people needed my help. Some were lost, scared, and recognized the value I provided them with Life (Career) Coaching. Some were laid off, some caught themselves in a position where they wanted to make a change due to their employer’s (Covid) protocols or lack thereof. Some made changes in their education journey, and some wanted to use that time to invest in themselves.

These clients have experienced positive opportunities too. To mention a few, one allowed his entrepreneurial spirit to soar – he recognized a need in the market and started a Junk Removal business. One got her US citizenship and has more clarity in her job search now. And one decided to re-invent herself; she learned cutting-edge technology and is now getting into a new and improved career search. I’m so proud of them!

Growing through this process, myself as well as my clients, I’ve been reminded that we cannot allow negative disappointments to discourage us and paralyze us in fear and self-doubt. We have to look for and find the silver linings that [I believe] are always there… sometimes they’re harder to spot, but a positive attitude and a bit of faith put them in better focus. Once we have that clear focus, then we can do anything!

Do you or someone you know need help finding their positive opportunities? I’ve been able to help people transition from being unsure and fearful to feeling empowered, confident, and successful.

So, I’ve been asked to take this process and develop a new coaching package. It provides guidance and assistance through the upheaval we’ve all experienced from Covid-19. I’m finalizing the program now and will share the details soon. In the meantime, please let me know if you or someone you know would be interested in this brand-new coaching program.

Stay safe and healthy… and as always,

With Much Gratitude!
